Fresh And Consistent Private Label

Traditional Coffee Bags for Classic Convenience

Coffee bags are the most common packaging option and one of the first ways coffee was packaged for retail distribution. There are many reasons why traditional bags have been on the market for years. For example, if you choose to manufacture block bottom bags, they feature:

  • A square bottom. These bags have a square-bottom design so they can stand on their own.
  • Side gussets. The side gussets expand the packaging, allowing the bag to hold more coffee.
  • A valve. The valve is the small hole near the top of the bag. It keeps coffee fresh by allowing carbon dioxide in the bag to escape while keeping air and moisture out.
  • A resealable top. The zipper or tin tie at the top keeps the coffee fresh as customers use a few scoops at a time.

Our Proven Process for Private Label Coffee Bags

Joe’s Garage Coffee can create flavorful, fresh coffee for your established coffee label. We use the latest industry practices, machinery, and tools to deliver the standards your customers expect. Our process for packaging your coffee in traditional bags involves these steps:

  1. Choose your coffee service. Joe’s Garage Coffee offers three services — roast-to-order process for full-service coffee producing, co-pack services for packaging your roasted coffee beans to your specs, and toll-roasting to turn your green beans into the perfect coffee brew.
  2. Create coffee samples. We’ll create samples, following your roast, brew, and taste preferences. Our sensory panel follows cupping protocols from the Specialty Coffee Association.
  3. Receive feedback on your coffee blend. After we’ve created the samples, we’ll send them to you for feedback. We’ll continue to change your coffee blend as needed to create the perfect product for your customers.
  4. Place your coffee order. We’ll use the specs for your coffee blend in a larger order, so you can offer your product in retail stores and beyond.
  5. Craft your custom coffee bag. We’ll design a traditional coffee bag with your branding to market your coffee product to your customers.
